Our Services

Client Research

This is where I do the research for you. When you’re stuck and don’t have time or the resources to do the research, you contact me and we figure out what you want me to research. We agree on the number of hours and the price per hour or per project. I keep you updated with regular emails and then give you every document, report, and photo when it’s done.

Presentations

I offer presentations, locally, on a variety of subjects such as Scandinavia 101, Census Records, Church Records, Beginning Norwegian/Swedish/Danish Research, etc. This also can be customized to fit your audience’s needs as long as it pertains to genealogy. Virtual presentations are definitely an option if you don’t live local.

Document Lookup

Sometimes the genealogy document that you need isn’t digitized and you need someone in the area to physically look for you in that archive. That’s where I come in. I’m close to the Idaho State Archives and a variety of courthouses that hold original documents not yet digitized. They include vital records, court records, photos, newspapers, military records, naturalization and pension records. If you can’t travel to get it yourself, then this is the next best thing.

Consulting

This is where I don’t do the research for you, but I help you get unstuck. All you need is an outside perspective, advice, and a plan to get you back to doing your own research and that’s what I provide. Go to the Coaching page to learn more.
  • Tricky Genealogy Mysteries!

“My family and I have been stuck on a family mystery for a long time–we couldn’t find documented proof of our Native American heritage—but we have been unable to solve the mystery for ourselves.

Tiffany at Savvy Genealogy not only looked down paths for my ancestor that I didn’t know existed, but she taught me a few tricks and places to look for answers on my own. I really appreciated her candor regarding the problem I was facing and the encouragement she gave me to keep digging. I’ll go back to Tiffany with all of the tricky genealogy mysteries I have (which are surprisingly many)!”

  • Top Gun Researcher

Tiffany helped me track down real people who lived in the old world and who worked, traveled from the old country to the new world seeking a better life. Tiffany found and helped me put families together and we built family “ancestry fan charts” for real people who lived in such places as Norway or London or Poland.

Tiffany went the extra mile in building each family tree. Not only do I thank and appreciate Tiffany for her help, but the Harvey Family, the Dilley family, the Heady family and others are were universally thrilled to learn of their ancestors thanks to Tiffany. I whole heartedly recommend Tiffany as a top gun researcher!
